If you bring a gun through a check point--you could be a candidate for a no-fly listing.

Hello:  The Washington Post notes that last week that 76 firearms were collected at the nation’s airports last week (!).  I believe it is fairly well understood that bringing a fire arm to the airport with intent to bring it onto our flight is a bad idea.  I believe that the gun is seized (and destroyed?).  As folks do not seem to be getting the idea, perhaps those who claim, “They forgot,” should be more firmly reminded by being put on the no-fly list for a fixed period.  I would suggest 30 days for the first event and a year for any following.  I think this would be an administrative action so it would only require that the regulations for published for them to go into effect.  What do you think folks?
